The San Bois mountains are renowned for the trophy potential and opportunity for great deer. This property sits on roughly 2000+ acres of excellent whitetail habitat. There are numerous old logging roads on this property that can be used to navigate the creeks and clearings. There is one hunt shack and feeder on the property with more planning to be added. Camping on this property is allowed in designated areas near the northern pond. Also available is a shooting range setup from 30 yards to 1720 yards. This is a DIY opportunity, meaning that hunters need to bring all supplies that they feel necessary to raise chances of success. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property.

This property near Poteau, Oklahoma boasts an ideal environment for large whitetail deer, with its diverse range of biological habitats, including a pond, creek beds, and hardwood forests. Whitetail deer are abundant in the area, especially during the rut, attracted to the various food sources as well as the shelter and cover provided by the hardwood forests. The hardwood forests and dense timber in this region offer excellent cover for deer, making it an ideal location for hunters to set up in a tree saddle or portable blind and wait for deer to pass by. The dense tree lines also provide a rich source of food for deer, with a mix of deciduous species such as oaks, maples, and hickories, which produce acorns, nuts, and other food sources throughout the year. This dense forest and the plant species that inhabit them are pumped with native forage and provide an abundance of food for deer and other wildlife. However, this also means that hunters must be strategic in their approach, the deer can be highly unpredictable and may not follow predictable daylight patterns. Hogs numbers in this area are extremely high and may provide competition when targeting deer. This being said, Deer are used to the presence of hogs around, and patience is key.
