5100 ftRodeo Ranch is a DIY pronghorn hunting property located north of Chugwater, WY just east of I-25. This property consists of right around 900 acres and borders thousands of acres of WY state land. This ranch has LARGE populations of both coyotes and prairie dogs. Lodging and other amenities may also be provided for extended stay hunters, at an additional cost.
Small game habitat: Prairie dog towns are found in several locations on this property, including on the WY state land. They run rampant and the landowners want them all gone. Same with coyotes. There are several draws that give coyotes cover and opportunity to build dens.
The state of Wyoming does not require licensing for predators or prairie dogs. All hunters must still abide by all other WY regulations, such as no shooting from vehicles or roads.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

The map appears to indicate roads or drivable trails to the area that would be desirable to shoot; however that was not the case. We were set up to shoot from fixed shooting benches and that would have required multiple trips of over 400 yards each way to get our ammo. guns, and benches in place. so not at all a desirable situation. A moot point, in view of the fact it rained most of the day and was too wet to shoot at all, so none of us fired a round. Very disappointing.

My son and I hunted Prairie dogs on this property. There are plenty of Prairie dog towns to target. Landowner was great and very helpful.
