Notes from the landowner

Rodeo Ranch is a DIY mule deer hunting property located east of I-25, in between Chugwater and Wheatland, WY. It consists of around 850 acres and borders around 6,000 acres of WY state land. This ranch sees a great population of deer year after year. Lodging is also provided on this hunt, for the duration of your adventure. Lodging is available. This is an operating cattle ranch and will be subject to any cattle operations at any time. Again, this is a DIY opportunity, meaning guests should bring all gear that they deem necessary for hunting Mule Deer. All attending parties, must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property.

Game and habitat information

Rodeo Ranch Mule deer will consist of multiple sources for Mule Deer to stick around during the year. Water sources are available on and around the property. In addition, the property consists of Alfalfa fields and sage flats which will provide food and bedding areas. Mule Deer tend to be more active during the early mornings and evenings and sometimes an afternoon feed and bed switch. Rut activity in this area can start in late October and continue on through November.

Harvest Reports

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

Landowner Coupon

If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: 1806 Torrington Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

Access Duration

5 days. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 4 as well. The reservation will be for the entire time frame, and your entire group.

Drawing Odds

Wyoming residents can hunt this area with a general tag and can be bought OTC. For non residents, drawing odds can be found at infiniteoutdoorsusa.com/links/wyo-draw-odds

Payment Process

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

Trespassing

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

Please read the Terms of Service before fully booking your adventure. Otherwise, Refunds are only permitted at the discretion of Infinite Outdoors. This is only in conjunction with particular situations including, but not limited to, modifications to reservation (usually by a reduction in reserved days) or full cancellation of any Infinite Outdoors adventure, either hunting or fishing. No refunds will be permitted, in ANY case, if the individual(s) broke any of Infinite Outdoors Rules or Policies as set out by the Infinite Outdoors team, and each individual Landowner.

Non hunters require prior approval. Once approved they must still be IO members but may be subject to reduced price or free outdoorsman fee. If this applies to you, please reach out to IO.

There were no mule deer on the property during my hunt. My rating is based solely on the hunt. The house was clean and comfy and the owner was very pleasant and friendly. So that part gets bonus points.
