Whitetail and Mule DeerHell Creek is a deer hunting property located in GMU 109, consisting of just over 8,000 acres. This property will be shared access, you will see other hunters. Purchasing a hunt on this property is for access alone, not exclusivity. This hunt is designed to be more affordable access for people. Think of this as public land hunting on private land. Up to 6 hunters will be allowed at a time. It is divided between multiple separate plots that cover a good percentage of the unit. The land holds plenty of mule deer as well as whitetail. On this property, you will be hunting mostly CRP grass, pastureland, some dried creek bottom, and a good amount of agricultural land. The deer reside in this area year-round, with minimal pressure. Hunts on this property will be sold in 5-day increments, for both rifle and archery seasons. The day you book will be valid for the following 4 as well. This is a spot and stalk property, park on the county roads and walk in. Though the terrain may look completely flat on the map, there are many ways to keep yourselves hidden from game using small hills or rises in the land. Lodging is not included in this hunt, however some nearby towns such as Stratton or Burlington may have hotel availability. This is a draw unit for both species of deer, though if you are unable to draw a tag, Infinite Outdoors may be able to put you in touch with a landowner for a voucher. Hunts on this property are DIY, though guided deer hunt options are available through a separate company. Contact IO if you wish to discuss those options. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed 2 weeks after the Colorado limited license draw results are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to and Infinite team member before that 2-week mark and they will proceed with you accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to your arrival on the property.
This Eastern Colorado property provides great Mule Deer and Whitetail habitat during both the summer, fall and winter months. Its lower elevation provides great food and water sources along dense sagebrush and grassland habitat. These vast grasslands and sage flats serve as exceptional habitat for this region. These properties also include ag fields which also serve as an attractor for big game. A culmination of different landscapes provides grazing opportunities for deer throughout the property. Several deer in the 160+ range have been harvested off the property in the past.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
5 day hunt. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 4 as well. The reservation will be for the entire timeframe, and your entire group.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

The properties were great to hunt, some better than others as it relates to seeing deer, but in general our adventure provided access to quality deer hunting. We did have other hunters attempt to hunt property our party had access to.
