Central - Northeast ZoneThis property is located on the South Platte River, south of Greeley, Colorado, and offers pristine waterfowl hunting. Blinds are formed with t-posts, hog paneling and are brushed in using various debris and vegetation. Each blind can comfortably fit 6 people, though you will need to bring your own chairs. The property to the west of Gander River has not been hunted in the past, and the town of Evans owns the stretch of river to the east…. Meaning Gander River is strategically situated in an area with minimal hunting activity. Hunters, make sure to bring all licenses and tags required. Also, all hunters must abide by Colorado state rules and laws. Limits and regulations still apply. SPEEDING OVER 15mph ON PRIVATE ROADS WILL RESULT IN FINES.
This property is located on the very secluded section of the South Platte River. Years past have proven to be very productive. The South Platte in this region breaks up into many sand bars, bends, and pocket water. All of which provides excellent forage opportunity and habitat for waterfowl on this property. Pivot and ag fields located just a couple hundred yards to the south will provide birds to utilize the ag and the river to its fullest extent. This area sees minimal hunting pressure and a surplus of waterfowl. The location and habitat this property provides makes this an excellent location for any waterfowl hunter.
1-Day Hunt
Provided blinds are set at the beginning of the season. Hunters are encouraged to spend a few minutes brushing in the blinds to keep them in quality condition and keep them well hidden from birds.
Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the hunt.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
