TroutLittle Deer Creek is a DIY fishing property located south of Glenrock, Wyoming. It is mostly comprised of water on Deer Creek but offers access to a small section of Little Deer Creek. This stretch of water branches off of the North Platte River just north of Glenrock and flows south. Offering just over 2 miles of fishable water that winds and bends through private property, Deer Creek boasts secluded, quiet days on the river. Fishing here will consist of tight quarter casting on skinny water. Anglers should note that all access on this property is limited to the stream only; the boundaries are set in the Infinite Outdoors app, so pay special attention to how far from the banks of the creek you wander. Parking is permitted in the designated spots in the IO app only: Do Not make your own parking spots. Park in assigned locations and proceed on foot only.
This area of Deer Creek is also known as Deer Creek Section 1. It offers opportunity for multiple species of fish, including brown trout, rainbow trout, and brook trout. Most frequently in this section of Deer Creek, anglers are landing brown trout. Even though the stream is smaller in size, it produces pockets of water that hold fish 20 inches and bigger. Anglers will be expected to follow all state of Wyoming fishing regulations on this property.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. Outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the adventure.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full ourdoorsman fee charges.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
