PronghornBronlow Ditch is a DIY Pronghorn hunting property located south of Fairplay, CO in GMU 50. This property consists of roughly 640 acres in the flats between the Tarryall Mountains and the Mosquito Range. It also borders several hundred acres of BLM land. Any access on this property must be done by foot, or by driving on existing two-tracks. Any deviation from this rule may result in fines. Game carts are encouraged for hauling any harvested animals off of the property or to the nearest vehicle. Hunters must abide by all state of Colorado regulations, including licensing method of take. This is a 3 Day Hunt 3-day rifle hunts, archery or muzzy hunts will come with extended access (1 extra day for muzzy, 2 for archery)
The flats in between the surrounding mountain ranges are notorious for being the stomping grounds for big herds of both elk and pronghorn. The terrain around Hartsel consists of high plains with scattered brush and open fields. Brownlow Ditch itself is very flat terrain, which will make spotting game an easy task, but stalking them will be a challenge. Hunters can plan on an ambush type of hunt here. Covered in coveted grasses that wild game will feed on later in the year, this property provides a quality grazing location for all kinds of game. There are several nearby water sources as well, giving pronghorn plenty of reason to spend long periods of time near or on this property.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
3 day hunt. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 2 as well. The reservation will be for the entire timeframe, and your entire group.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
