Howell Place - Pronghorn

Almost directly south of Newcastle Wy, this ranch is approximately 2500 acres in area 6. Wyoming is renowned for Pronghorn hunting and this property is the perfect place to fill some tags. The property holds open fields, multiple water sources, tree rows, and a perfect location for Pronghorn. This is a DIY hunt, hunters need to make sure that all things necessary for this hunt are brought along including all required licenses, tags, etc. Hunters must abide by all Wyoming State rules and regulations.

This property is located near Thunder Basin National Grasslands in an area known for its high population of pronghorn. Due to its proximity to all nearly all private land, good water sources and year round green grass, this property holds antelope nearly all year round with little pressure. Animals in the area have become accustom to traffic due to the adjacent oil wells and therefore do not spook as easily as in some other areas. The changing topography between the creek bottom and bluffs also allow for good spot and stalk opportunities. Look for pronghorn to use the creek for water and the bluffs to avoid the wind.

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
