PronghornHunt Area
32Just south of Casper, Bates Creek North lies within the boundaries of area 32, a highly sought after tag in central Wyoming. This property spans over 8,000 acres offering a diverse landscape across the foothills of the Laramie range. Within 30 minutes of Casper, this property is very accessible and has been known for the number of pronghorn that it holds year in and year out. Bates Creek North sits adjacent to an additional 900 acres of state and BLM land that can be access directly from the property. This property can be hunted during the archery and rifle seasons. This is a DIY opportunity meaning, hunters must bring all things necessary. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property. The reservation fee is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed 2 weeks after draw results are posted, so if you book the property but do not draw, reach out to Infinite Outdoors before that 2-week mark. The rest of the outdoorsman fee will be processed 1 month prior to your hunt.
Pronghorn numbers in this unit have stayed more steady than most other units statewide. Due to limited winter kill in the area from the 2023 winter, we have limited quotas for this property. After a mild 2024 winter and increased grazing opportunities for wildlife, hunters are more likely to see more trophy potential. Staff biologists have set quotas based on extensive surveys and population counts on this property. With that in mind, we still predict great harvest results and aim to continue to manage this area for a high population of antelope. This area in unit 32 known for its high density of antelope and especially its trophy genetics. Locating pronghorn will be no problem on this property. Finding mature bucks with patience and persistence is recommended. Large hay fields are located in the south central region of the property and are known to hold excellent pronghorn. Diverse topography is also one of the strong suits this property holds. This allows for hunters to get close to weary antelope and close the distance on mature animals. This is a great area for both seasoned and first time antelope hunters to be successful on a Wyoming pronghorn hunt!
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: 13920 State Highway 487, Casper, WY 82604.
