DoveLone Tree dove is a DIY dove hunting property located just north of Eaton, CO and east of HWY 85. It consists of 70 huntable acres, mostly trees and some water, placed smack dab in the middle of farm country. Local water, feed lots, and tons of crops are what make this property a great dove hunting area. Hunters can expect to set up in the trees and wait for their passing shots. Please be respectful to any nearby structures or homes and shoot responsibly. Any unsafe discharging of guns will not be tolerated.
This property is an ideal dove habitat, with plenty of trees and cover, water access, and lots of surrounding agriculture providing ample food sources. On this property, you can expect to see both Mourning and Eurasian doves (these species have some overlapping seasons dates but make sure to check regulations before hunting).
Drivers should stay under 15 MPH on private roads. Violators will be subject to fines starting at $100
All hunters must possess a small game hunting license: https://cpw.state.co.us/thingstodo/Pages/SmallGame.aspx
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged from contacting Infinite Outdoors. Some landowners have not opened their land for reservations yet. The other reason properties might be unavailable is because we work directly with our landowners and hunts are booked by quota set by our biologist for the current year. That being said, we are willing, and able in most cases, to pre-book you for next season. OR book you in place of someone else canceling their reservation.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

Very poor, property was easy to locate, but there were no birds flying across or around the property.

Half of the property was cut and half was not, good number of birds in the area unfortunate that you can’t access before sunrise but no big deal. the cut part of the property was nice, The other field that’s not cut is almost impassable and a nightmare to retrieve birds. being in the tree line is kind of your only option. Only down side is your on the other side of the fence and retrieving birds you had to walk to one gate or another in order to be respectful to the landowner and not damage the fence so about a 100yd walk or more depending on where your set up at but overall nice property good amount of birds got checked by the local wardens very nice gentleman we even educated one of the wardens about infinite outdoors and how it works he loves the idea and said he would look into it as well!
