6200 ftBoxelder Creek is a DIY fishing property located south of Glenrock, WY. Note that though the address for the property states Glenrock, this particular property is roughly 10 miles south of town. Consisting of just over 1 1/2 miles Boxelder Creek, this private section of water offers any angler the perfect opportunity for a quiet day away from the crowds. Easy access to the water is also a major perk of booking this property! Park the car less than 50 yards away from the first hole. All anglers who access this ground must stay within the provided boundaries shown in the IO app - please do not take it upon yourself to venture outside as this is a fishing only property. Boxelder Road does divide the river and is a public county road. So, though you have exclusive access to the water, you may see the occasional car driving by. This will also be the main road any IO adventurers will use to access the property from I-25. DIY adventure means that you will need to provide your own equipment, transportation, and licensing. Enjoy your day out on the water!
Although smaller in nature, Boxelder Creek has pockets of water that hold big fish. At some of its widest points, Boxelder Creek is only a maximum of 10 yards across. This means a need for some technical casting skills may be required! For even more technical casting, the north side of the property is bordered by steep inclines on both sides of the creek - anglers may need to employ roll casting or other techniques to avoid losing flies on their back cast. The south side of the property is much flatter, with wide open spaces in between the trees. Boxelder Creek holds many species of fish including rainbow, brown, and brook trout. It can be hard to beat pulling big fish out of small water!
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. Outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the adventure.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full ourdoorsman fee charges.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
