3 DaysSanta Fe Trail Ranch is a DIY antelope hunting property planted in GMU 132, south of Lamar, Colorado. Coming in at just under 5,000 acres of private land, this ranch boasts ideal habitat for thriving pronghorn - see the Game and Habitat section for more information. Though the property is accessible by vehicle, driving is only permitted on existing roads or 2-tracks that traverse the ranch. Because it has been a drier year, fire risk is a large concern in this region of Colorado, so hunters will need to be more than mindful about where they drive, park, and idle in their vehicles. This is an operating cattle ranch and must be respected as such - this means leaving gates as you find them and being sure of your target before taking a shot. There are many hot fences on the property as well, so hunters beware! As this is a DIY hunt, hunters need to provide their own equipment and be prepared to pack out an animal to their vehicle. Please reach out to Infinite Outdoors if there are any questions about this specific hunt or property!
This property was put through a rest year in 2023 for management reasons and has benefited greatly from it. Southeastern Colorado is known for trophy antelope due to its habitat being conducive to growing big bucks. Santa Fe Trail Ranch caters to local pronghorn with fantastic terrain, and many sources of water. Between North Butte Creek and upwards of 9 different stock tanks, this private cattle ranch can hold antelope on site year-round. The habitat itself is a mixture of grassland and prairie, with a good amount of registered CRP land as well. Though relatively flat, there are still many topographical changes that hunters can utilize to stay hidden from their prey as they make their stalk. GMU 132 offers B list buck and doe licenses on private land only, and is also a part of Colorado's OTC archery unit list.
3-Day hunt. By booking the first day of your adventure, you're automatically booked for the following 2 as well.

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

Pronghorn happened not to be on the property while I was hunting. I did bump one just across the road north of the property. Tough to get on them with a Muzzleloader. I should of exercised more patience and hunted the water tanks.
