PredatorNorth Fork Smoky Hill is a DIY predatory hunting property located south of Stratton, Colorado. This property is made up of 18,000 acres and consists of several types of terrain. Eastern Colorado, and this property especially, boasts a large population of coyotes and other predators. Hunters will see cattle operations, and a few places of residence on this property; please stay away from these areas and do not shoot any guns within 300 yards of them. If it is simply a pasture with cattle in it, just be mindful of your target. Any cattle that are wounded will result in large fines.
This predator property consists of several types of habitat that allow for predators to thrive. Among those habitat types, are large fields of CRP, sections of pasture ground, and several crops like corn that provide thick cover. There is also a healthy population of prey in this region of Colorado that helps predators thrive as well. Critters like rabbits, pheasants, ground squirrels, and even different ungulates, provide a plentiful food source.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
