4535 ft.Cheyenne Wells Pronghorn Lands is a DIY antelope hunting property located in GMU 116, consisting of over 21,000 acres. It offers a wide variety of terrain including CRP grassland, pastureland, open spaces, river bottoms and other desirable antelope habitat. The method of hunting on this property is spot and stalk, do not drive through fields and stay on designated roads. Lodging is not included in this hunt. Local towns such as Stratton or Burlington may have hotel availability. This is a draw unit for buck tags, doe tags are easily attainable OTC. Infinite Outdoors may be able to put you in touch with a landowner who could sell you a landowner voucher, but it is not guaranteed. This is a 3-day hunt; the day you book will be valid for the following 2 as well. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed 2 weeks after the Colorado limited license draw results are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO before the 2-week mark and they will proceed with you accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 48 hours prior to your arrival on the property.
The open plains of eastern Colorado provide great habitat for large numbers of antelope. With an abundance of food sources, bedding areas and cover, along with limited public pressure, pronghorn numbers and size are very good. Agriculture fields provide protein rich food year-round which helps produce good species abundance. Look for pronghorn to feed in agriculture fields and utilize small drainages or creek bottoms for travel and bedding, especially as pressure increases during hunting seasons. This area is great for mid-trophy size bucks and doe hunts. This large property can support several bucks and does being harvest each year to help manage the population and increase trophy potential.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
3 days. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 2 as well. The reservation will be for the entire timeframe, and your entire group.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

Didn’t hold antelope over two days of driving and glassing. I wouldn’t go back.
