Walsh Ranch - Elk

Walsh Ranch is located just outside of Meeker Colorado. With over 600 of acres in GMU 211, this property has been good in the past and has continued to produce great opportunities. This property is full of sage pinon and juniper with good water throughout, it is about 6000 feet in elevation and but up to 5000 acres of public land that has direct access from the private land. Elk will tend to come in and out of the property multiple times per day. A camp will be set up during the 2nd rifle season that attending parties can use. During the 2nd season, 4 man minimum is preferred. During the 4th rifle season, a camp will not be set up for hunters to use. Please inquire with Infinite Outdoors for more questions pertaining to the 4th season. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property.

Walsh Ranch is a perfect place for opportunity. From a biological perspective, it offers a perfect habitat. Agriculture fields across from this property can provide food sources. On the property and BLM attached, opportunities for bedding areas are offered. Rut activity will pick up in September before dropping in October. Elk can be seen in more abundance during feeding hours in the early mornings and evenings.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
