38Paulson Branch is a DIY pronghorn property located directly west of I-25, north of Cheyenne, WY. It consists of almost 4,300 acres of private land and provides access to an additional 900 acres of Wyoming state land. Both Little Bear Creek and Paulson Branch creek run through the property, providing plenty of water and green grass for game to utilize. There are accessible two-tracks that span a majority of the property and can be used to travel and transport game. However, no driving off of the existing tracks is permitted. All hunting must be done from foot. This is a 3-day hunt, so the day that you book will automatically book you for the following two as well.
Although Wyoming experienced a large winter kill in the Western, North, South and South central areas this winter, this region did not experience the same snow levels as the rest of the state and therefore has seen better numbers this spring. However, based of recommendations from our state and staff biologist we have reduced the number of hunts in this area for the 2023 season to help mitigate losses in the rest of the state. With that in mind, we still predict great harvest results and aim to continue to manage this area for a high population of antelope. This area in the eastern half of Wyoming is known for its high density of antelope, outnumbering the population of humans in most regions. Large grasslands, mixed with rolling hills and shallow creek bottoms provide ideal habitat for antelope. Although this is not know for its trophy potential, high densities of bucks in the 15" range are seen in the area each season. With plenty of acreage to explore, this is a great area for both seasoned and first time antelope hunters to be successful on their hunts.

The antelope hunt at Paulson Branch went great. I tagged out the first morning after locating a small herd of about a dozen does and three bucks.
