Wewoka Creek Hogs is shaping up to be a hog hunter’s dream. The actual Wewoka Creek runs along the southern edge, creating the perfect habitat for wild hogs with plenty of water and thick cover. Hogs love creek bottoms, dense brush, and open fields for rooting - making this spot ideal for stalking or ambushing. Keep in mind the presence of feeders and shooting blinds, which make for a comfortable spot to set and wait. In Oklahoma, feral hogs have become a significant concern due to their expanding numbers and the damage they inflict on the landscape. An estimated 600,000 to 1.5 million feral swine are present in the state, with populations detected in 70 of Oklahoma's 77 counties. This high density makes the Wetumka region particularly promising for hog hunting enthusiasts. In Oklahoma, you can hunt hogs year-round on private land, day or night, with no restrictions on weapons or methods—just make sure you have permission from the landowner. During deer season, some extra rules might apply, so it’s a good idea to check with the Wildlife Department before heading out.
Whether you're planning a quick hunt or an extended stay, this property offers a great chance to bag some hogs. Reach out to Infinite Outdoors to book your trip!
