PronghornThis property consist of approximately 120 acres in Wyoming's area 25 just north of Casper. This area is known for holding big pronghorn and can produce very well. Sand Hills has had big bucks taken off recently and should continue to do so in the years to come as it is managed specifically for pronghorn hunting. This property does have 2 blinds that are set up over water that hunters can use. The property is placed strategically against sections of state and BLM land that is landlocked so it is almost untouched. Sand Hills is for archery hunts only and limited to 2 people at a time. There is an add on deer option available for this property for Mule Deer if hunters have the appropriate tag. There will be only 8 pronghorn taken off of the property for management. 2 deer will be able to be taken so hop on the add on option quick. If hunting in August, deer will not be available at this time. Access will come from I-25 making it very easy to get to and from. This is a DIY property which means hunters need to bring everything that they feel will increase the success of this hunt. Additionally, all attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property. Proper licensing and tags are required before access to the listing begins. Hunters: please be prepared to return the landowner coupon on your license to this landowner. Check the rules and regs section upon booking to learn where to send the coupon.
120 acres of sage and mixed grasses buts up against 5,000 acres of land locked BLM and an additional 600 acres of state land that hosts a variety of terrain suited for antelope throughout the year. Natural water sources on the BLM combined with supplemented water sets this property up for success in archery season. As temperatures are hot, pronghorn will go to water more frequently. Look for bucks ranging from 60 to 75+". The possibility to tag out on something bigger is there as there have been multiple big bucks taken off in the past years.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: PO BOX 252, Glendo, WY 82213.
