5 daysAlbany Ranch is a DIY deer hunting property, located west of Wheatland, WY in deer unit 64. This property is made up of just over 2,000 acres of private land and offers access to over 10,000 acres of BLM and Access Yes land. It is comprised of multiple different terrains, and ranges in elevation from 6,800 to 7,200 feet. Hunters will find both open country and multiple water sources on this property, holding a good mule deer population. Hunters must abide by all State of WY hunting regulations while on this property. All hunters in a party are required to be active members of Infinite Outdoors and must be listed on the hunting party's adventure.
This property in area 64 is ideal for Wyoming Mule Deer hunting. Sitting just east of Brandel Mountain, this property offers diverse landscape consisting of timber pockets, high brush, and natural pinch points. This part of Wyoming is naturally drier but that doesn't mean it that it doesn't produce brutes. There are water sources on and around private property as well as perfect places to see bucks bedded during the day. Rut activity will increase as November gets closer before dropping off early in December. Perfect time to see deer moving are during the early mornings and evenings or during the time of moving beds.
