Sybille Creek Turkey

Sybille Creek is located just west of Wheatland, Wyoming in area 5 for turkeys. This magnificent 80-acre property is full of ag fields and large roost trees with a large flock of turkey's that live on the property and surrounding areas. Sybille Creek runs through the property, providing a constant source of water and food for the turkeys, which are regularly seen on and around the land. The agriculture fields on the property offer additional sources of food and roosting places for the turkeys, making it an ideal habitat for them. For those seeking to chase some Merriam's, this area is hard to beat. Whether you prefer spot and stalk or sitting in a pop-up blind, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. Situated just west of Wheatland, with its beautiful scenery, and abundant turkey population, this property is the perfect place for an exciting and unforgettable hunting adventure. Please follow all rules of the property. No shooting within 100 yards of the cattle or in the directions of the cattle or houses. Although the ranchers are aware that you will be visiting, please expect a visit from them and have your Infinite Outdoors app with your adventure as proof of permission.

The Merriam's that inhabit this property tend to travel along the creek bed to and from food sources and roost trees. Large groups of turkeys winter in the bottom and landowners often see groups of 300-400 at a time. Large cottonwoods line the creek which provide cover and roosting opportunities. The triticale and alfalfa fields provide nutrient rich food during the spring months. As the spring season progresses we often see birds splitting up nto smaller more manageable groups looking to roost and breed along the creek bottom.

Hunters must cancel within 2 weeks after the draw results post. If deposit has been made, we will push you to following year/season if possible

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All adventures can only be booked a maximum of 90 days in advance.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
