6529Resolis Road is a DIY deer hunting property located in GMU 105, southwest of Limon, CO. It consists of over 6,500 acres of changing terrain on the plains. Multiple sources of water can be found on this ranch, and it butts up against Big Sandy Creek which provides great cover and bedding opportunity for game. Hunters can expect to find mule deer and the occasional whitetail on this property. This is a 5-day hunt, so by booking the first day, you are automatically booked for the following 4 as well. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the Colorado draw results are posted, so if you are unsuccessful in the draw, please reach out to IO so you are not charged. The remaining 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 1 month prior to your arrival on the property to hunt.
The open plains of eastern Colorado provide great habitat for large numbers of deer. With an abundance of food sources, bedding areas and cover, along with limited public pressure, deer numbers and size are very good. Agriculture field provide protein rich food year-round which helps produce good species abundance. Look for game to feed in agriculture fields and utilize small drainages or creek bottoms for travel and bedding, especially as pressure increases during hunting seasons. This area is great for mid-trophy size bucks and doe hunts.
Hunters must cancel within 2 weeks after the draw results post. If deposit is made, we will push you to following year/season if possible.
5-day hunt.

It was ok, wide open and didn’t see much incentive for deer to visit the property other than maybe for bedding. Walked, stalked and scoped a lot and didn’t see a deer or any sign to be honest. Lots of Antelope. I needed up leaving early, it just wasn’t very exciting not seeing at least a few deer. I’m sure they are around, not sure very many and it’s going to be just happen stance and times just right if you see deer. Plus there were corn fields not cut yet on the West side of the property along the river and no doubt deer are probably held up In that.
