Dark GeeseLocated just East of Yoder, Wyoming, Silver Tip Waterfowl is close to 80 acres of beautiful waterfowl layout field. Nestled in the Central Flyway of zone C1a, this truly is one of the most desirable waterfowl locations in Wyoming. With a road bordering the property, this location is easy to get into and easy to drag blinds and decoys to and from the hunting location. There is an access road through the property, however, it is recommended hunters do not use the road anytime after shooting light, unless collecting decoys and successful harvests. Hunters should also know this is a DIY hunt, so all equipment must be brought yourself. However, being a paid IO member, hunters will have access to great discounts at Alps OutdoorZ, a quality blind making company. Hunters must also follow any and all IO policies, as well as all State of Wyoming Game and Fish rules and regulations, including but not limited to tags and method of take.
Just Northeast of Yoder WY Silver Tip Waterfowl is prime layout waterfowl hunting. This unique layout adjacent to public land offers free range of excellent hunting in the area. This large Native field offers some lights out layout blind hunting. Migrators and the adjacent lake will have birds throughout the year. The geese will likely come feed during late mornings and evenings and loaf on the lake during the the mid part of the day. On windy, sleety, rainy days expect geese to be much more active in these fields when visibility is low. This field has wonderful access and is the perfect position for targeting large numbers of birds. These waterfowl in this part of the state get lots less pressure than most and can be downright phenomenal hunting for you next adventure.
