Ross Cattle Company is a DIY waterfowl property located just east of the town of Mulhall, Oklahoma. On this property you will find a 3-acre pond that has ducks on it just about all year long. Canada geese also occasionally visit this area, though you can expect to see more ducks than anything. There will be no blind built on this property this year, but there are several trees that line the pond. Hunters can expect to have to brush in their own blind, or pack in layouts/A-frames. Please abide by all state of Oklahoma regulations including limits and licensing. Decoys, waders and a dog are recommended. This pond can be quite deep depending on the year, so please plan accordingly. SPEEDING OVER 15mph ON PRIVATE ROADS WILL RESULT IN FINES.

Game and habitat information

This property gives access to hunt an excellent waterfowl lake in the middle of unpressured private land. This property had lots of different habitats, having a lake, some smaller ponds, thicker wooded areas, and some open fields allowing hunters to hunt how they wish. On the property, you are likely to see a wide variety of ducks and the occasional goose.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

Hunts canceled 48 hours or more prior to the adventure will not be changed. Hunts canceled within 48 hours will be charged 50%, and hunts canceled within 24 hours of the adventure will be charged the full outdoorsman fee.
Yes, they must be a current IO member. Monthly memberships are available at a lower cost. An outdoorsman fee will not be charged, but any “non-hunter” found hunting will be fined.
