Boxelder Creek is a DIY waterfowl property located just south of I-25, near Glenrock, WY. It consists of an approximately 30-acre pond that has seen zero hunting pressure in past years. Hunters here can expect to have opportunities at both ducks and geese. While there is not currently a blind provided, there is plenty of brush and other cover nearby, so hunters should plan on providing themselves with ample time to brush in a blind. Some areas of this pond are deep, so some form of bird retrieval is recommended, be it a dog, fishing pole, or other method. SPEEDING OVER 15mph ON PRIVATE ROADS WILL RESULT IN FINES.

Game and habitat information

This property allows access to a private lake in an excellent location for waterfowl hunting. This property is surrounded by other water sources and agricultural fields that see little hunting pressure. On this property, you are likely to see a variety of ducks and geese.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
